Sorell Market

The Sorell Market is held every Sunday morning during summer and every second Sunday during winter at the Memorial Hall site on Cole Street.

The market dates are advertised in the Saturday Mercury (under garage sales) on the Saturday prior to the market. Or call Rod on 6243 8282 or 0417 509 558.

The Market attracts up to 60 stalls, many operating on a rotating bi or tri weekly basis, selling everything from artwork, books, ceramics, clothing, confectionary, fresh fruit and vegetables, handcrafted jewellery, organic produce, second hand items and CDs and bric-a-brac.

There are public toilets on site. Childrens activities are often a feature, along with a playground, and refreshments where you can take a break from bargain hunting and fill your stomach.

The market is held every Sunday morning from 9am during summer and every second Sunday during winter. The market is located on level ground, beside the Sorell Memorial Hall, near the towns centre. There is ample car parking and access for people with a disability.
