Newstead Market
Held under the shade of large gum trees in Newstead's Rotunda Park, this is a friendly community market where you can find almost anything: food, plants, crafts, tools, locally grown organic fruit and vegetables, clothes, second hand books, furniture, trash and treasure.
Entry to the public is free, so come along and pick up a bargain.
Stallholders are very welcome and sites cost only $10. This is one of the cheapest markets around, so it's a great opportunity to promote your business or community group.
There is no need to book ahead, just turn up on the day with your goods and services on offer.
Any funds raised go to help support the Newstead and District Fire Brigade, keeping our community safe.
The brigade runs a BBQ with hot food including sausages, burgers, vegie burgers and our famed egg and bacon rolls. Hot and cold drinks are also available.
Brigade members are available to answer your fire safety questions and help you with fire preparation. Kids big and small are welcome to have a look at our fire truck.
